The TRUE BLUE JAZZ SERIES (TBJS) is an Independent Jazz Fest in it’s second year, conceived and produced by Eddie Sherman and Peggy Raley. TBJS, which is not affiliated with Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival, is focused on “Straight Ahead” or “Mainstream” Jazz, largely featuring songs of the Great American Standards Songbook from 1900 to 1960. From the birth of Dixieland Jazz to the popular music that became the soundtrack of America, TBJS features beloved songs from American stage plays, radio and television shows and features films across this period and beyond.
